First apply eye shadow, then move on to apply eyeliner

A fine, even line of eyeliner should be applied has to be held taut to ensure proper lining of the whole length closest to the lashes.
Color of the eyeliner should be same as the the color of the mascara.
The line is tapered off while approaching inner and outer corners of the eye.

Use short feathery strokes instead of trying to draw one solid line.
Do not apply thick eyeliner to small or close-set eyes.
Do not over blend, spilling your eyeliner onto the believer under the lower lashes; that makes dark circles look worse.
